Research Interest:
- Synthesis of heterocycles with either substituted biguanide and cyanguanidine substructures such as aromatic
or partial hydrogenated pyrimidinylguanidine, 1,3,5-triazindiamine and imidazolylguanidine, in view of the well
known anticonvulsive-, antiprotozoic- and antidiabetic effects of these substance classes.
- Total synthesis and derivatization of natural flavonoid-glucuronids with anti-inflammatory activity.
- Antiprogestins as targets for progesterone related breast cancer.
